Realistic Guide to Having a Happy Life

Normally, When you read a post like this, the kind of advice you receive are things like traveling more, following your passion, being more patient, etc. all of this is valid and respectable, in this post though, we are going to be focusing more on the day to day stuff. So you’re probably not going to be looking like the girl in the photo on top, because let’s be honest, that girl is either a pyromaniac or on some serious hallucinogens, I mean, who the hell gets that excited by a sparkler?

Anyway, now that I’m done with the bad jokes, let’s get into the actual topic of the post. Here are 6 simple things you can do to be more relaxed and happier on a daily basis:

  1. Meditate at least 10 minutes a day. Unless you’re Elon Musk, you can probably make space to meditate 10 minutes, and even if you can’t, you can still do it while showering, driving, etc. Meditation has immense benefits for your health, just browse “meditation happiness” and you’ll find a great number of studies and articles on how meditation makes people happier.   2. Take a power nap in the middle of the day. It comes without saying that when you are tired you are more prone to getting angry and/or stressed than when you are energized. A great way to boost your energy is by taking a 20-minute nap. While it is better if…
