Dear writer, we need to talk. But before I say anything else, I want to be completely clear about one thing: I like reading your posts and hearing what you have to say, and I can tell you know what you’re talking about most of the time, and I like your posts. But maybe you could be a little bit more humble.
Now, not making assumptions, but it seems like you don’t care about me anymore, and while I understand that you probably know more than I do, it would still be nice if you read my comments once in a while. I mean, I would never ask you to read all of them, that would probably be a waste of your time, and I’m self-aware enough to acknowledge that I don’t always have a lot to add and can be mean at times, but I also can have some interesting observations you know? I guess what I’m trying to say is that while you may be more knowledgeable about what you’re writing about than me, maybe, just maybe, you could use some feedback from your audience.
I mean, I just don’t get it: Why won’t you listen to any feedback? Do you really think I’m so dumb I couldn’t possibly say something worth listening to? Or do you think you’re so smart you couldn’t learn something from me? Either way, maybe reading some feedback every once in a while would make you a bit more self-aware, and more appealing to your audience, and just an overall better writer.
